Stone Wave Cliffs - At the Old Farm Rest Point, head east near where the Paint Cage was; in the alcove behind the Paint Spike. From the Old Farm Expedition Flag, proceed East down the slope until you reach flat ground. Some stacks of lumber will be to your left; continue forward, keeping the lumber to your immediate left, until you can go no further. After destroying the Paint Spike, you'll gain access to a small area with the optional boss Chromatic Gault. Upon entering this area, immediately go right to find a small path with the Picto at the end.
